Do you have a birthday that is really close to or on a holiday like Thanksgiving or Christmas? Or do you know someone who does?

Once again Christmas really is just around the corner, and with that lovely day comes my birthday. Yes it's on the same day. And really it doesn't ever feel like my birthday. I don't know if that is because am getting older or if people seem to focus on Christmas more.

When I was little it was great because I had my Christmas presents in the morning and my birthday presents at night. My brother and sister were so jealous. Now...it seems like people don't remember my birthday until later in the day. I'm not complaining or sad about it. It is just something I am starting to notice.

My birthday is 2 weeks after Xmas

I do not, my birthday is June... but I am sure I've met a few that have their birthday in some other holiday, no Christmas though.

I always wondered how it would be for people born in the Eve day or the next one. I guess with you was like a prolongation of the celebration with something more to look forward, eh? Pretty cool.

I guess it is because you are getting older taht it feels like like your birthday, it is just not the same attention one used to like a kid. For me it is usually a few calls from family, unless my friends organize something but that usually was some days before or after.

I'll try to come up with some other dates that are important holidays.

I guess in the south of mexico and Central + South America the equivalent would be being born on January 6th, instead of Santa Claus, we tend to receive our presents during the morning of that day because "the three wise" ones that visited baby Jesus and brought him gifts.
